Step-by-step setup
Find the MAC address
Look under the box or open Settings, About device. Send the MAC (starting 00:1A:79 on MAG) to Sharo5 on WhatsApp.
MAG: enter the portal URL
Go to Settings, System settings, Servers, Portals. Set Portal 1 name to Sharo5 and paste the portal URL from WhatsApp. Save and restart the box.
Formuler: use MyTVOnline
Open MyTVOnline 2 or 3, choose Add Portal, enter a name and the portal URL, or choose Xtream Codes and enter your login. Formuler also runs Android apps such as TiViMate.
Watch
After the restart the box loads the 25,000+ channels with the built-in guide. Use the remote colour buttons for favourites and the EPG.
Common errors and fixes
Portal shows "STB blocked" or a blank screen
The MAC has not been activated yet or was typed wrong. Send a photo of the MAC label to support and it is fixed within minutes.

Is a MAG box better than a Firestick for IPTV?
A MAG or Formuler box has a better remote, a faster guide and never needs sideloading, but costs $120 to $180. A Firestick costs $30 to $50 and does almost the same job. Choose a box if you watch IPTV every day and want the cleanest experience.
